The first thing you need to know about the LC Aerial team is we love motorsport and pride ourselves on being sports action specialists.
From huge off-road events with hundreds of competitors to a small motorkhana with just a handful of spectators, there is nothing we like more than getting out and covering the action.
We have delivered high-resolution video and photography for many sporting events, including the Waikerie Riverland Enduro, Mount Gambier’s Legend of the Lakes hill climb event, the Port Lincoln Street Sprint and the National Downhill Mountain Biking Championships.
One of our favorite jobs? Being invited by KTM to cover the 40th anniversary of the iconic Finke Desert Race in Alice Springs in 2015.
Rally and off road events have been one of the most difficult motorsports to capture on camera, often stretching over long distances and over inhospitable terrain. In a matter of seconds, a competitor is gone and chances to capture footage can be few and far between.
Remote Piloted Vehicles or drones are revolutionizing the way spectators witness these events, offering spectacular aerial views with no limitations and far less expensive than helicopters.
The safety of the public and competitors at such events is always a priority and we have worked closely with CAMS to develop safe working guidelines for use of drones at motorsport events.
We were incredibly proud to be the first company in Australia accredited by CAMS to operate drones at motorsport events.
But it’s not just sport on two or four wheels. We enjoying covering all sports from triathlons, football, BMX and even school athletics carnivals.
We are also able to publish live action feeds direct to your social media accounts so the public doesn’t miss a beat of the action.
